Austin City Limits is cancelled and Austin city bars are once again closed due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, but at least Austin is still getting a Vanilla Ice concert on Friday. The Austin Chronicle reports that although an executive order from the governor shut down bars, the venue Emerald Point Bar & Grill is technically classified as a restaurant because at least 51% of its sales are food and is thus allowed to remain open at 50% capacity. Ice ice baby! Nothing can thaw Vanilla Ice!
